AWANA, which stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (from 2 Tim 2:15), is a high energy, biblically focused children’s ministry program used in churches around the world. Unlike a typical Sunday School class, AWANA incorporates Scripture memorization, games, and other fun activities.
It also sets goals for learning God’s word and then encourages and rewards children for reaching those goals. As a result...
